Raft or kayak the wild and scenic Kern River! Sierra South has been in business for over 40 years and offers whitewater rafting trips on the iconic Kern River. We run short, half, full, and two day trips daily on Class 2-5 whitewater, perfect for families to expert rafters. Our kayak school is the oldest & largest program in Southern California. We also offer a bike shuttle service for the world-renowned Cannell Plunge trail, rock climbing courses at local climbing areas, and river tube rentals & shuttles at the end of the whitewater season. We have a brick-and-mortar outfitter store stocked with gear, clothing, and gifts for paddling & mountain sports adventures.
